A holistic approach to your dental health.

Welcome to Ozarks Holistic Dental, conveniently located off I-65 at the Fremont exit in Ozark, Missouri where we provide a unique perspective toward dentistry and your overall health. Our office practices dentistry from a naturopathic standpoint, carefully assessing your oral health as a representation of your total health and wellness. We practice what we like to call “slow dentistry”. We believe that it takes time to get to know you as a person before we can treat you as a patient. We do not overbook our schedule so that Dr. Mullen can give you his full attention. You will notice the difference when you arrive at our office.

As our patient, you are not just another set of teeth; you are another conversation, another story, another friendship. By knowing who you are, we can know what your teeth mean to you, and this is where dentistry begins.

We aim to educate our patients in a safe environment while offering them necessary comprehensive care. We understand that many people have anxiety about dental treatment, so we created a soothing environment and a scheduling system that minimizes your wait time. By combining the latest technology with a holistic approach, we give our patients the best care in the area.

Wesley Mullen, D.D.S.

Born and raised in the Midwest, Dr. Mullen lived most of his life in Kansas until the call to become a dentist began his journey to Virginia. Soon after graduation his Midwest roots led him to Missouri. He worked exclusively in Public Health Dentistry until he began suffering the effects of mercury exposure from amalgam (silver) fillings. It was then he became aware that his symptoms were common to many dentists and joined the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (IAOMT). He is committed to serving the community with science-based dentistry, which many call Biological or Holistic Dentistry. He is certified and accredited to safely remove mercury fillings (called SMART) which translates to a healthier patient, staff, and environment. Dr. Mullen and his wife have lived in the Ozark area for over 8 years and when he has free time, you'll catch him hiking, fly fishing and kayaking. He also enjoys woodworking and when you visit our office, you may catch a glimpse of some of his fine work.
